What a real warranty looks like

A real workmanship warranty is a one-page document with specific terms, a duration in years, a clear scope of what is covered (workmanship vs material), what is excluded, and the legal entity standing behind the work. Pro Shield issues that document at project completion. Keep it with your home records.

Roofing workmanship

Installation defects on roofing systems installed by Pro Shield are covered for a multi-year term documented in your contract. This includes flashing, ventilation, underlayment, and shingle or panel installation. It does not cover acts of God (hail, wind above warranty thresholds, lightning), modifications by other parties, or normal wear of consumable items like sealants past their service life.

Manufacturer material warranties

Material warranties from manufacturers (asphalt shingles, metal panels, underlayment, paint) are passed through to the homeowner. Many manufacturers offer enhanced system warranties (gold, platinum, etc.) when the full system is installed by a certified contractor. We will tell you which enhanced warranties your project qualifies for.

Painting workmanship

Pro Shield exterior repaints carry a multi-year workmanship warranty against peeling, blistering, and flaking on properly prepped substrates. Interior repaints are warranted against application defects.
