Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Asphalt is still the dominant roofing material on Colorado homes for good reason: cost, availability, color range, and a strong manufacturer warranty ecosystem. Pro Shield installs architectural and Class 4 impact-resistant systems from the manufacturer brands homeowners and insurers actually recognize.
Architectural vs Class 4 impact-resistant
Architectural shingles are the baseline standard on the Front Range and carry typical lifetime limited warranties. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are tested to UL 2218 Class 4, often qualify for an insurance premium discount in Colorado, and resist hail bruising better. They also cost more up front. We will run the math both ways.
What we install with every shingle system
Synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield at eaves and valleys, new drip edge, new pipe boots, step and counter flashing, and balanced intake-and-exhaust ventilation. Shingles only perform as well as the system underneath them.
