Colorado Roofing Services

Pro Shield is a local Colorado roofing contractor based in Lakewood. We handle full asphalt and metal roof replacements, targeted repairs, leak diagnostics, ventilation upgrades, ice and water shield additions, and pre-sale inspections across the Denver metro and the Front Range. We are not storm chasers. If you have a legitimate hail or wind claim, we work directly with your insurance adjuster. If you do not, we will tell you that too.

The granule layer is the shingle's UV and impact armor. Loss of granules at impact sites is the functional damage carriers look for.

When homeowners actually call us

A new roof is rarely an impulse purchase. The most common reasons Colorado homeowners contact Pro Shield are persistent leaks after monsoon rains, granule loss and curling on shingles past year fifteen, ventilation problems that cook the second floor every summer, ice damming at the eaves in February, energy bills that keep climbing, a failed roof inspection during a home sale, or visible hail bruising flagged by an insurance adjuster.

Each of those situations leads to a different scope of work. A 12-year-old roof with attic ventilation issues may only need ridge venting and a few field repairs. A 22-year-old three-tab roof with widespread granule loss usually needs a full tear-off. Our job is to recommend the smallest scope that actually solves the problem.

What a Pro Shield roofing project includes

Every replacement starts with an on-roof inspection (not a drone flyover) to evaluate field condition, flashings, penetrations, decking, and ventilation. You receive a written scope with material, underlayment, ice and water shield coverage, drip edge, ventilation plan, and disposal handled. Tear-off, decking replacement as needed, synthetic underlayment, ice and water at eaves and valleys, new pipe boots, and step flashing are standard. We pull the permit, pass the city inspection, and clean the site daily.

Insurance claim support, without the pressure

Many Pro Shield projects are insurance-funded after a hail or wind event. We meet your adjuster on the roof, mark and photograph damage to carrier documentation standards, and itemize supplements for code upgrades the policy owes. We never tell a homeowner to file a claim for damage that does not exist. If your roof is healthy, that is the report you get.
